Here are some powerful immune boosters that are excellent antivirals!

 
 
 

  1. Vitamin A – 200 mg a day

  2. B Vitamins – take a strong B complex every morning (could energize you and interfere with sleep) with food (could upset your stomach without food.)

  3. Vitamin C – take as much as your bowels can tolerate, but start with 1000 mg twice a day.  This is best taken as buffered ascorbic acid to decrease stomach upset. Although the gas may be uncomfortable, this has profound health benefits.  Each day, try to add 500 mg a day to your regimen.

  4. Vitamins D and K2 – take a minimum of 5000 IU a day of vitamin D.

  5. Vitamin E – I 400 mg twice a day

  6. Omega Fatty Acids - I like Nordic Naturals, Pro Omega 2000, twice a day. Put them in the freezer to avoid ‘fish burps’.

  7. Selenium – 200 mcg a day.

  8. Zinc – Zinc Picolinate is the best form.  Start with 30 mg a day and titrate up to 60 mg in a few days.  Take with food. The best absorption is when you take this separate from other supplements.
